The Hillgrove

One of the very best pubs in Bristol. Situated high on a hill in Kingsdown it’s not easy to find but is well worth the effort.

With a comfy sofa area and a beer garden that should be open later in the summer, the pub is run for locals and newcomers alike by the ever-smiling Marianne.

The pub recently converted to a freehouse and the consistently superb beer is almost exclusively from the South West.

Can’t recommend it highly enough.
