Westlife Ashton Gate Concert

Westlife are to play a live in concert at Ashton Gate Stadium this summer.
Ashton Gate, the home of Bristol City Football Club will host this sure-to-be sell-out event on Thursday, 17th June 2010.
Nurtured by fellow star Ronan Keating, Shane, Nicky Mark and Kian make up the Irish boy band with the squeakiest of clean images and the mightiest string of number ones. Beloved by eight to 80-year-olds, their Best Pop Act award at the Brits in 2002 was well deserved. Despite the departure of Bryan McFadden to pursue a solo career, the remaining four have carried on, continuing to triumphantly sell-out arenas across the country.
Under the guidance of manager Louis Walsh, the band have sold over 43 million records worldwide including 14 UK number ones – a record only bettered by Elvis and The Beatles.
Their biggest hits include Flying Without Wings, If I Let You Go and You Raise Me Up plus covers of Against All Odds, Uptown Girl and I Have A Dream.
Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan are sure to rock this event big-time. With only 15,000 tickets available for this massive outdoor summer concert, the tickets (priced between £35-50) are sure to sell quickly – so snap them up whilst you can!

Tickets will be on sale by phone and online ONLY via the above methods – although wheelchair/carer tickets should be purchased direct from the stadium. Ambulant disabled should contact SeeTickets direct.

The brand-new all-girl band are managed by Westlife manager and X-Factor judge Louis Walsh and band-member Kian Egan.

Hello, Naomi! The supporting acts are yet be decided, although a Bristol Band or Soloist will be one of them!
“One band or soloist will win the chance of a lifetime to perform live at this summer’s concert as one of the group’s support acts, courtesy of the Bristol Evening Post.
To enter the competition, acts must fill out an entry form – printed in the Bristol Evening Post until the end of this week and upload a track on to the Post website.”
