This year’s Royal International Air Tattoo, also know as ‘RIAT‘ is staged at RAF Fairford over the weekend of 17th and 18th July 2010 and promises to be THE aviation event of the year! During a thrilling 7 ½ hour flying display people will see fast jets, giant transporters, historic aircraft, and much, much more. You can got to meet the crews, get close to the aircraft and enjoy a feast of first class entertainment including the critically acclaimed Tri@RIAT an interactive showcase designed especially for youngsters. There are also flight simulators, cars, shopping malls and fairground.
With over 300+ aircraft participating each year, upwards of 170,000 visitors and support from the Royal Air Force and some of the world’s leading aerospace companies, the Royal International Air Tattoo has been acknowledged as not only the world’s largest military airshow but also one of the UK’s premier outdoor events for the whole family!
Add to this the rousing outdoor evening concert and FREE entry for accompanied under-16s and FREE parking, it’s clear that the Royal International Air Tattoo, held in support of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, offers unbeatable value for money.

I am a regular attendee to RIAT and think this year will be fab. The F22 Raptop is my particular highlight.
I’d definitely recommend this for aviation buffs and families alike. There really is fun to be had and a great day out for whatever kind person you are.
We agree with you, Michael.
It is certain to be a great year, given a little help from the weather.
We will be visiting the event, and will compile a report after; which will include photographs, videos and much more.
Thanks for your comment.
